Travel by car / motorcycle
Visits by car or motorcycle are easily possible. Parking space is available right at the house and can be used free of charge during open hours. The parking lots can be reached via "Ohmstraße" or "Heinrich-Strunk-Straße". For parking in "Ohmstraße" you need to be an early bird as the parking lot usually is busy even in the early mornings.

Green zones in Germany
Please note that the city of Essen has a so-called green zone, which may be used only by vehicles with special environmental badges. The ATT ground and its parkings are located right on the edge of this zone. If your vehicle doesn't have an environmental badge, we recommend parking outside the green zone (approx. 5 minutes to walk).

This rule also applies to foreign vehicles (40€ fine). Motorcycles are not subject to green zones.

Travel by public transport
For travel by public transport, we recommend the S-Bahn (local train) lines S1 (Düsseldorf -> Dortmund) and S3 (Oberhausen -> Hattingen). The ATT ground can be reached within a 10 minutes footwalk from the train station "Essen Frohnhausen".

Further information and timetables can be obtained at "Verkehrsverbund-Rhein-Ruhr" (local transport federation). Choose "Frohnhausen S" as destination.
